Humidity Controller HM-3

The HM-3 serves as the regulator for a humidifying or cooling system in pig and poultry stables as well as industrial plants. Easy operation was important to us here. lt switches automatically from summer to winter operation. The regulation during the winter is controlled exclusively according to the relative humidity. In the summertime in comparison it is regulated according to humidity and temperature. It is also equipped with a dosing program for disinfection or air enrichment. The controller is equipped with the following input and output ports:

• Pump connection
• two magnetic valves
• dosing device
• humidity sensor
• temperature sensor
• Power input and 0-10 volt input (for possible integration of existing ventilation)

It is also possible to set a maximum humidity limit as weil as a relative humidity setting (summer/winter). The temperature can also be adjusted to according to requirements. For this reason the spray and stop times are regulated and can be limited for different  seasons. The dosing function is of overriding importance to the humidifying and cooling functions.

After our first computer for high and medium pressure humidification, our HM3 has been introduced as the successor. With this device, which was especially developed for controlling spray cooling systems, we have addressed many customer requests.

An independent control system for cooling and dosing allows for optimal utilization of the controller. It is operated with the traditional digital knob and three buttons. In addition, a display and LEDs show the actual and setpoint states. This controller can be retrofitted into any cooling system and also has the possibility to detect the values ​​of existing ventilation systems (including older systems).

This allows the stopping or spraying time be adapted to the air flow rate. Most condensation problems are avoided. A separate dosing program gives the operator the possibility to spray essential oils or similar substances in the stables or the supply air duct.
