News01.12.2015 Animal comfort![]() ( Thanks to the hdt heat exchanger it’s springtime again! ) Especially in the current season - with the ever-increasing changes in the outside and the supply air temperatures - awareness of the benefits of heat recovery are in the spotlight. Based on the progression curves in the main controller, you can see how the heat exchanger impacts the supply air. As soon as the switch-on point (usually ~ 15 ° C) is reached, the heat recovery system cushions the further drop in the supply air temperature and constantly gains power as the outside temperature drops, whereby the difference between the outside and supply air temperature remains constant. This difference provides direct and immediate benefit to the animals, and at the same time reduced supply air temperature fluctuations in the compartment mean less stress for the animals. The resulting ability to increase the air rate - without the need for additional heating - ensures low pollutant levels in the stable. Since the higher temperatures also reduced stress, an increase in the feed conversion may well be observed. The following gallery shows some values from last night: |
