The Construction Process in Ulan Ude

In recent days we have been able to put the first farrowing stable into operation at the construction site in Russia near Ulan Ude. The first sow stable was finished in cooperation with Hartmann food technologies, our partner in Russia and the CIS countries.

The first young sows are expected to arrive in Ulan Ude in the next few days.

The good collaboration with the Hartmann staff and the builder's staff on site has enabled us to keep the assembly schedule.

The sows will certainly feel comfortable in the new stable with integrated heat recovery system. Double exchanger capacity in conjunction with a frost protection system will always ensure adequate heat exchanger capacity, even at low outside temperatures.

The hdt LC 4 controller ensures a fully automated defrosting process when icing is detected. Sensors monitor the hdt-eddy current exchanger under freezing conditions and ensure smooth operation of the system.

It is operated via touch terminals on control cabinets in the stables or from the stable manager's computer. Remote monitoring and control is also possible through our service, or via the Internet using a smartphone.

The heart of the PLC control LC 4 with touch terminal:

The overview screen for all stables:

Or operation via smartphone:

Especially impressive is the long row of hdt eddy-current air-air heat exchangers along the almost 200m stable.

Here you can see the roof air inlet which is for mixing outside air with exchanger air during transition periods.

A stable system with the latest technology which ensures careful energy use. The CO² reduction here is considerable. The animals always have a sufficient supply of fresh air, even at low outside temperatures.
